Down The Hall
There are several ALCO and Knapp Prints here mixed in with some Spooner Originals. My son Erik has a nice b&w photo he took in Central Park
That big one of the barns on top.... I took at the Floyd estate in 2003. But here is a closer look at what you came here for.

A blacksmith shop from American Litho. My grandfather Walter Joseph was a blacksmith when this was created in 1901.

These two snow scenes were done by famous landscape artist William M. Thompson. Around 1955 my sister did some very fine copies of them that she took off of Christmas gift boxes. Her paintings hung in our Mastic Beach living room until we left. She now has them at her home in Michigan. It was great to see them again and imagine my surprise when I found out 50 years later who printed them. CO INCIDENCE ????

I've had this one for several years . It is circa 1910-20 was sold by Knapp Co. pre framed and ready to hang. It still has the label on the back which is amazing.

"THE FISHERMANS HOME"
This was my first Knapp print. I've shown it before and it remains one of my favorites. Perhaps because I too was a fisherman on Long Island 35 years ago . The print was one J. P. used in his first newspaper, The N. Y. Recorder about 1892
