The Rutgliano Family in 1957. The Bride is Dorothy Rutigliano. On her left is her younger brother Bob who was a freshman at Floyd that year, her mother Gert . On her right is her father Mike and youngest brother Jacky who was in the 5th grade at this time. Missing is her older brother Mike who was stationed with the Air Force then and the groom George Beck, Behind them on the bandstand at the Mastic Firehall are Joe Toto's "Syncopaters". My band the Islanders played several weddings at the Mastic Firehall in the early '60's. Jacky told me this wedding had 500 guests and the party went on for three days! Not at the hall but back at the Rutigliano Ranch on Cypress Drive!
