MISTER LOPER'S FINE GREEN BUS IN FRONT OF THE MORICHES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Somewhere I have the actual newspaper story about the crash from Jan of 1953. It's buried away in my Mastic history files. It didn't say very much about it and was in error about the exact location and if anyone was hurt.
THIS IS WHERE WE ACTUALLY CRASHED IN JANUARY OF 1953 AT THE FORK OF NEIGHBORHOOD RD & BRUSHWOOD DR
THOSE LARGE BUILDINGS WERE NOT THERE THEN
AND HERE ARE SOME ARTICLES ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED AFTERWARDS
I THOUGHT THAT ANNETTE MEZZAPPELLE, WHO WAS IN MY BROTHERS 3RD GRADE CLASS, WAS THE ONLY KID INJURED, BUT ANOTHER CLASS MATE OF HIS, LOUISE ANDERSON WAS ALSO HURT
AND A LAWSUIT RESULTED A BY THE SUMMER OF 1953
I'm not sure what the outcome of this was, but I recall Louise returning to school during her elementary years
and graduating with her High School class in 1962.
