Scenes from South Haven

The photos shown here are from the archives of the Post - Morrow Foundation. My thanks to Brookhaven resident Marty Van Lith for taking the time and effort to supply me with digital copies.

THE CHURCH

Heading West On Old Country Road about 1900. Today it's called Montauk Highway and it's a lot wider and straighter. Other than this new church building (1828) the view is probably not much different than what the Floyds, and Woodhulls saw when they attended services.

Francis Toms took many photos of Bellport, Brookhaven and Southaven in the early 1900's that were made into

post cards.
