A little phone tag with Bunny that weekend and I found myself speaking directly with her..... She was very gracious. Although her husband Doctor Walter Carpenter had owned the home for sixty years, they did not know that the Knapps lived there or had built it.....Bunny said whoever built it "built it well and certainly had good taste ".....

					The West Wing
						The terrace that was off the master bedroom to the left of the chimmney has been replaced by a matching roof that has doubled the size of the bedroom. The Knapps carried the bedroom terrace idea to their Mastic Beach mansion.
			The front entranceway has been narrowed, but the Carpenters sure opened it wide for me. LET'S GO INSIDE...SHALL WE? CONTINUED
