In 1947 Ella Dana sold Johnny her late husbands boat "The Wa Hite" which had been in mothballs long before he died in 1939. The price was $300.00 The custom built boat was insured for $10,000.00 in 1930 . I don't think Johnny ever got to fix it up and it fell into his friend Dan Acernio's hands in the 1970's. Dan did fix it up and today it is fully restored and cruising on Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Last I heard it was for sale for about $350,000.00

John Henry Libaire passed away at his waterfront home in Oakdale, LI in late March of 2004. He was 91
