I bet my folks were at this dance. I remember the carnivals and bazaars held in the parking lot and the tournaments we used to attend all over Long Island. I saw the Department in action too, many times. Starting with the fire in our backyard my Mom set accidentally. Tons of brush fires through the years, St. Andrews, Knapps Chicken coop, and more and of course the Big One..... Knapp's mansion.
