THE LISTS GIVES: NAME, RANK, DATE & PLACE WHERE THEY DIED. ALONG WITH THE NAMES OF THE FARAWAY PLACES LIKE DUNKIRK, MOUTRIC, FLANDERS AND PARIS ARE A GREAT DEAL OF CLOSER TO HOME NAMES___ TOWNS LIKE ROCKAWAY, BAY SHORE, AND HUNTINGTON, LONG ISLAND.

SEVERAL AVIATORS WHO STARTED OUT WITH UNIT 1 IN HUNTINGTON ARE ON THIS LIST. ONE CURTIS REED WAS THE BROTHER OF CHIP McILWAINE'S FUTURE WIFE. AND THERE IS ONE NAME FROM UNIT 3 IN MASTIC__ ENSIGN LESLIE MacNAUGHTON, WAS KILLED MARCH 13th 1918 IN AN ACCIDENT AT HAMPTON ROADS, VA .
