MR. DIONISIO's 8th GRADE HOMEROOM

William Floyd School November 1957

 

Mister Dionisio was only at Floyd for about two years, but he left his mark. I never had him for a teacher, my brother Walt did. He was very popular because the kids seemed to relate to him and vice versa. In 1958 he arranged for the national singing group "The Shields" (You Cheated) to come perform at one of our dances. I think it may of been the very first Floyd "Sweetheart Ball" When the group missed their train back to Brooklyn he drove them back in his little English Ford Consul!
