Not only do we have a photo here of Will's Road , which may of been any number of roads criss crossing on the Floyd Estate in Mastic, we have a real photo post card sent by a real Floyd. Emma Rolfe Cooper Floyd was also known as Mrs. Augustus Floyd and lived on the estate until her death at age 84 in 1933.
In August of 1906, (the postmark on back of the card) Emma wrote to a Mrs. Borden Parker Bowne of Back Bay in Boston Mass. From the message I take it the Bowne's had been recent visitors at the Floyd estate. I would not be surprised if the photo wasn't taken by William Floyd 2nd who did a lot of photography on the estate back then. There are two people riding in the wagon (readily visible with a magnifier) and I'd love to know who they were.
