Beach Ten
#7 on Map
Man oh man .....Lots of memories
here...lots of summers too. Straight on is the remains of the
bulkhead fishing pier. The beach was on the left. The big house
now sits where Mike & Walter's Fishing Station was. For a
Beach Ten Story or two click here
heading east along the shore towards
the Lagoon we passed by the remains of "our dock". This
is where we kept the Little
Chief 1960-63 bravely facing the open bay
This was one of the original big
drawing cards for selling the town. Before 1926 there was only
a very small pond at the end of where Whittier & Lakeview
Drives would meet up with Elm Rd. Home Guardian dredged out the
canal that connected the two and the rest is history. For more

lagoon click here
DECISIONS DECISIONS
And that's why Van Lith is the Captain
of this boat. Here he is pondering whether or not we should continue
eastward to Forge River or head back. The wind was not laying
down and we had to face it head on all the way back not to mention my hat had already blown into Pattersquash
Creek so......
