This seemed to be the soul surviving 19th Century building on the block where once upon a time in 1879 these gentleman gathered just diagonally across the street.

 

THE ENTIRE STAFF OF MAJOR & KNAPP

At what appears to be a loading dock circa 1879 at 52 Park Place we find

Mr. Major & Mr. Knapp (in vests) with their employees . I think that is newest employee

flyboy and future printing super salesman , 16 year old Joseph Palmer Knapp on the right!

 

HEY WHERE IS EVERYONE?........I GUESS I'M A LITTLE TOO LATE....BUT

Here I Am! standing in the approximate spot the M&K gang stood in the good old days

It's still a loading area But One Thing They Didn't have in the good old days was
