Looking East on Montauk Highway & Suffolk Blvd T. The Model Acre Village was on the left by the cars on the highway Through the trees you can see the Shirley Post Office. Suffolk Blvd woud get renamed William Floyd Parkway and cross over Montauk Highway eventually crossing Long Island itself. A Howard Johnsons would be built by that sign and today a sign that says AVAILABLE sits on the empty lot of Schaefer's Snack Bar which vanished by the 70's.
