Mr. William Proefriedt

He taught us Colonials the King's English in Seventh Grade 1958 - 59.

Then moved on.......This was his first time inside the school since he left in June of '59

There wasn't too much light in the hallways other than that coming from Mr. P's Sneakers,,,,,,,

How About Those Green Lockers & The New Doors?

This is at the southern end of the 1956 addition near the Gym entrance.

WALK DON'T RUN

The stairway by the music room. One morning in 1961, in this alcove behind the stairs, before the homeroom bell rang, Angie Mischagno (class of '62) showed me how to properly play the Ventures hit song "Walk Don't Run" on my guitar. You see there was higher education going on all over the joint at all hours. Looks like somebody dropped a note there....hope it's not a crib sheet.

One of the few classrooms that were open. This one was my homeroom in the 10th grade next to the clinic. I miss the old space age light fixtures.
