REVIEWS
This is a fantastic book, the pictures alone are worth the purchase price then add to that the history it covers and you have the definitive book on the early days of stock car racing on the east coast. I lived on Long Island during that era and went to many of the tracks mentioned and knew some of the drivers which made the book even more enjoyable. This author is noted for his thoroughness and accuracy. Phil Van Tassel Oct 18, 2013
I can smell the dirt and oil, and fumes, and hear the roar of the crowd, much less all the engines goin' at high rumble and clinkster and clankster every time I pick up LONG RIDE... always a new surprise and Spooner gem... you spin a darn good yarn..thanks again for all the pleasure you bring…..
