WHAT !

YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THE HIMES MUSEUM OF AUTO RACING ?

"NOBODY HAS MORE STUFF"

Here's an article I wrote about it, some years ago for Mobilia Magazine.

Marty Himes never stops collecting stuff

(So imagine how much more there is to see there now )

He would love for you to come by so he can show it you.

(Screen capture from a TV interview)

BESIDES STOCKING MY BOOK, MARTY HAS A NICE ASSORTMENT OF GIFT ITEMS

COLLECTABLE STUFF : SIGNS, PLAQUES & SHIRTS etc .THAT HELPS TO SUPPORT THE MUSEUM.

IF YOU LIVE ON LONG ISLAND OR ARE JUST VISITING ,

GIVE HIM A CALL AT (631) 666-4912 AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

( This totaly unique museum is located at his home in Bayshore, Long Island that is why you need to call first )

I've known Marty for 20 years now and there are TWO things about him I can tell you for sure,

ONE: He will not EVER fly in a plane,

(he'd still hop in an open cockpit race car, in a blink and go flat out in competition)

TWO : He does not use computers at all. His grandson Bryan Johnson created a fine museum website,

BUT it is not the way to contact Marty Himes

So that is why you have to call him on a telephone 631 666-4912 or write to him at :

15 O'Neil Ave

Bayshore, NY 11706
