This is where Ella Marion Lindley Baker Dana 1887 - 1975 was born and raised. Situated right on the banks of the Forge River, In the 1970's John Lennon & Yoko Ono once seriously considered purchasing this home . In Ella Dana's later years she bequeathed much of her Old Mastic property to her friends and former estate workers with the understanding they would endevour to keep it as much as possible the way it was. For the most part they did not let her down.
