SOME OLD BUILDINGS THAT ARE STILL THERE

D: These photos were taken in 1994 Left: This was Vinny Orlando's Barber Shop in the 50's & 60's, Center: This was Smith's Fish Market, Right: The first business in "New Town" Schulte's Stable was alreading sitting here for 62 Years in '94 Before that it did duty on the Knapp Estate as a stable from around 1850 -1932

 

 

E: The building looks the same but it's Missing the Texaco Signage and Pat & Mikes Friendly Faces, West end of town looking east, Paul's bike shop is still there, The H C Grand 5&10 cent store was in the large brown building. Looking as good as it did over 50 years ago, St.Jude's stands vigil on the east end of town. During Christmas they used to decorate it in all blue lights.
