Grandpa sure had lots of friends, many quite famous like the Joseph Cotton and his wife Leonore. When Grandpa started writing out his Christmas cards, my Mom recalls him having to start in August or September, as he sent over 1000 each year all through the 1930's & '40s...good thing stamps were only a penny or two
